Therapist's Background

Yin Yan Hung, Emily, is a mental health clinician, the pronouns are she/her/hers. She was born in Hong Kong and is currently living in San Francisco, California. She can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. 

She graduated at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) concentrating on Expressive Arts Therapy in the master's program of Counseling Psychology in May 2023.

She registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) in the Board of Behavioral Science in California in 2023. She was an MFT intern in the  the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Health in 2022-2023.

Her therapeutic approaches include psychodynamics, humanistic and existential, and Jungian psychoanalysis, particularly the concepts of the self, archetypes, dream interpretation, active imagination, etc, and Family Therapy including Satir's Iceberg model, multisystem family therapy (particularly focus on children/adolescents' behavioral issues). 

She is specialized in touch-based art modalities, such as handicrafts, sand trays, clay, dance and movement, etc. By using the five senses, she feels more easily to create images and link up to unconscious messages.

洪鋋恩是一名心理治療師,她出生於香港,現居住於加州三藩市。她能操作的語言包括英文、粵語和國語。

今年5月,她於加利福尼亞整合學院修畢碩士課程,主修咨詢心理學(表達藝術治療)。

同年,她也在美國加州獲取婚姻及家庭治療師的專業資格。在2022-2023年期間,她在三藩市市與縣的公共衞生部門擔當實習生。

她採用的治療取向包括容格的精神分析學、人本主義及存在主義,尤其著重「 自我」、原型、夢的解釋、積極想像等,還有家庭治療(尤其針對兒童/青少年的行為和情緒問題)。

她善於採用觸覺的藝術表達手法,如手工藝、沙遊、舞蹈和動作等。透過我們的五種感官,她更能創作出意象,更容易獲取潛意識的訊息。
